Vacation of my Dreams

While listening to WKNO/NPR on my way to work this morning (my usual ritual), they had a guest on from Memphis who owns and runs an art and cooking school in Italy. This is something straight out of my dreams. You stay in a B&B in the local hillside, buy food at the local open market, walk to desired locations, and do as little or as much as you please while taking in the sites of Italy. The vacation is set up as an art school ranging from water color to digital photography yet also includes (for those of us a little unsure about our artistic ability) a tour of hillside towns of Italy or an Italian cooking class. The courses run for 10-11 days and most of your expenses are covered. You get to visit Rome, St. Francis' monastery, and a mid evil castle where you have lunch in the courtyard. The place looks amazing, and the major aspect that they want you to come away with is the beauty and serenity of Italy (and the wine). If you want to check it out, it is called Caifiordi , and is definitely worth looking into.
