Absentee

I got it, I got it. My absentee ballot came in yesterday and I am going to be able to be a contributing citizen in this election. I have to say that I was very pessimistic in regards to actually receiving my absentee ballot on time. It FINALLY came in yesterday and I am so excited to send it in. I do have to spend some time looking into the referendums for Knox County that are included on this ballot, but I feel confident that I have kept up with the issues in this election both home and in my home county.

Ok, that is it for now, I have to get ready for work. I will be writing shortly on a number of issues. For one, those of you who follow Twitter know this one, I am going to report on the effectiveness and issues of my "Heritage Days" and teaching such things as hatchet throwing to children that I have been doing all week. I also have a certain "Lost in Translation" issue that has come up with a professor of mine that I could use some clarification on.

Vote!

It is that time. Everyone that has not gotten around to registering to vote, requesting your absentee ballot, or requesting change of polling place, it is that time. I just sent in my request yesterday and feel empowered to make sure that others plan to vote. I don't care if you are democrat or republican, if you are steadfast on your decision already, if you are undecided at this point, or if either candidate doesn't really appeal to you. Regardless, the election is happening and as a citizen of this country, you should make a decision. There are a lot of people that are voicing their opinion on the candidates at this point. There are a lot of people that feel very strongly about this election. There are a lot of people that don't agree with what is going on in our country at this point. Well if you want to be able to discuss this issue in the future, if you want to have an opinion about the outcome of this election, and if you are wanting to help make a difference, you owe it to the rest of us and yourself to VOTE.
